As a Cleaning Operative, you will play an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards will help
ensure that clients and their guests experience a spotless and professional space.
- Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas (e.g., offices, communal spaces, washrooms).
- Clean, mop, sweep, vacuum, and dust surfaces in line with company and client requirements.
- Empty bins, dispose of waste, and restock consumables such as hand soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations at all times.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly to your supervisor or line manager.
- Use cleaning tools, equipment, and products efficiently and responsibly.
- Follow daily/weekly schedules and complete tasks as directed.
- Maintain a professional attitude and deliver excellent customer service when interacting with staff, clients, or visitors.
- Qualifications and Skills
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential (training will be provided).
- Understanding of cleaning procedures, equipment, and health & safety practices.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving equipment.
