Our commitment to ESG.

At JPC by Samsic, Environmental, Social and Governance principles are not add-ons, they’re built into the way we operate. As a people-first facilities partner, we understand our responsibility to reduce environmental impact, enhance social value and uphold the highest standards of governance across every building we maintain.

What makes cleaning a law firm different from standard office cleaning?

JPC by Samsic embeds sustainability into every aspect of service delivery, not as an add-
on, but as a core operating principle. This includes: low-carbon consumables and equipment
across all sites, waste management and recycling programmes tailored to each building’s
targets, electric cleaning equipment where infrastructure allows, and our proprietary
Materiality Tracker, which provides clients with automated ESG and carbon reporting. JPC’s
ESG Officers are embedded at client sites to manage sustainability programmes at ground
level. Clients typically save between £12,000 and £40,000 per year in sustainability reporting
costs through JPC’s in-house capability.

Does JPC by Samsic have a net zero or carbon reduction target?

Yes. As part of the Samsic Group, JPC by Samsic is aligned to group-level sustainability
commitments covering scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. At a site level, JPC works with each
client to establish baseline carbon data for cleaning operations and develop reduction
roadmaps. Progress is tracked through the Materiality Tracker and reported to clients on a
frequency agreed in the service contract. For full details of JPC’s current carbon and
sustainability targets, please contact our ESG team directly or speak to your account
manager.

What social impact initiatives does JPC by Samsic run?

Social impact is integral to JPC’s values. The company runs staff-led volunteering and
charitable programmes across its London operations, including community clean-up events
and partnerships with local charities. JPC invests significantly in employee welfare, offering
Wagestream financial wellbeing support, the NextGen management development pathway,
and sector-leading training programmes. Many of JPC’s current managers and supervisors
began as frontline cleaning operatives. Career progression from the shop floor is a genuine
and celebrated outcome at JPC.

How does JPC’s Materiality Tracker work?

The Materiality Tracker is JPC by Samsic’s proprietary ESG reporting platform. It collects
operational data from client sites, including energy consumption, waste volumes, water
usage, and consumables and translates this into standardised ESG metrics aligned to
common reporting frameworks. Clients receive regular automated reports that can be used
directly in their own sustainability reporting, saving significant internal resource. The Tracker
also identifies areas for operational improvement, allowing JPC and its clients to set
measurable reduction targets and track progress over time.
